Advantage Energy Income Fund (NYSE: AAV/TSX: AVN.UN) is a conventional oil and gas royalty trust that acquires and develops reserves in Western Canada. The Trust’s head office is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Growth has been achieved through a series of corporate and property acquisitions combined with an active drilling program which has increased production from 7,300 boe/d at inception in 2001 to approximately 30,000 to 34,000 boe/d in 2009. From inception through December 2008 the Trust’s reserve life index has increased from 7.2 years to 15.2 years.
